Australia's Saturday night lottery — 6 numbers from 1 to 45.
Saturday Lotto (called Tattslotto in Victoria, Gold Lotto in Queensland, X Lotto in South Australia, and Lotto in Western Australia) is a single-barrel game. You pick 6 numbers from 1 to 45. On draw night, the machine selects 6 winning numbers and 2 supplementary numbers from the same barrel of 45 balls.
You win a prize by matching some or all of the 6 winning numbers, with supplementary numbers used in Divisions 2, 5 and 6 to increase the number of prize tiers.
| Division | Match requirement | Odds (1 in) |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 6 winning numbers | 8,145,060 |
| 2 | 5 winning numbers + 1 or 2 supplementaries | 678,755 |
| 3 | 5 winning numbers | 36,689 |
| 4 | 4 winning numbers | 733 |
| 5 | 3 winning numbers + 1 or 2 supplementaries | 297 |
| 6 | 1 or 2 winning numbers + 2 supplementaries | 144 |
Odds are per game line. Overall odds of winning any prize: approximately 1 in 85.
Saturday Lotto uses a pari-mutuel prize structure — Division 1 winnings are split equally among all winning tickets. There is no fixed jackpot amount; the prize depends on total ticket sales and the number of Division 1 winners. If there is no Division 1 winner in a draw, the prize rolls into a jackpot for the next draw.
Lower divisions (3–6) pay fixed amounts per winning game line, regardless of the number of winners.
Saturday Lotto is drawn every Saturday evening, with draws typically closing around 7:30 pm AEST and results available from approximately 9:00–9:30 pm AEST.
