Australia's Tuesday night lottery — 7 numbers from 1 to 47.
OzLotto is a single-barrel game where players choose 7 numbers from 1 to 47. On draw night, the machine draws 7 winning numbers plus 3 supplementary numbers from the same barrel of 47 balls.
The larger number pool (47 compared to Saturday Lotto's 45) and the requirement to pick 7 numbers (rather than 6) results in longer Division 1 odds. However, OzLotto's 7-prize-division structure means there are still multiple tiers below Division 1 to win.
| Division | Match requirement | Odds (1 in) |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 7 winning numbers | 62,891,499 |
| 2 | 6 winning numbers + 1 supplementary | 2,994,834 |
| 3 | 6 winning numbers | 242,825 |
| 4 | 5 winning numbers + 1 supplementary | 26,271 |
| 5 | 5 winning numbers | 4,497 |
| 6 | 4 winning numbers | 182 |
| 7 | 3 winning numbers + 1 supplementary | 71 |
Odds are per game line. Overall odds of winning any prize: approximately 1 in 50.
OzLotto uses a pari-mutuel system for Division 1 — the prize pool is shared equally among all winning tickets. The minimum Division 1 prize guarantee starts at $2 million. When there is no Division 1 winner, the prize rolls over to the next draw.
Lower divisions (3–7) pay fixed amounts per winning game line.
OzLotto is drawn every Tuesday evening. Draws close approximately 7:30 pm AEST; results are available from around 9:00 pm AEST.
