I will post here occasionally, Lotto tips based on the work of Ion Saliu, and using my own observations. Some of these Lotto tips may be called Lotto predictions or forecasts, good for gaining player advantage, and with a touch of luck, a jackpot win!

This Lotto tip announces that it is now a good time to include recently appearing numbers in your games. Check the Lotto Results page to see which numbers have hit recently, and include some in your games.
We have seen some draws lately with good recent number hits, but we should see even more, as the ION3 filter has started hitting zeroes!
This tip is good until Saturday Lotto next week, or when it hits. Check here for updates.

Noticed another Ion 3 =0 last night more tight draws to come.

Hi Col, I’m not sure which system you mean, but I still play my 4 draw event strategy when games are generated.
Yes we saw some number hits this week, including 2 draws with 2 repeats from previous draw (one draw with firm recent numbers), but not as tight as it could have been.
The Ion3 hit zero again, with Ion2,3,5 at 0 and Ion4 at 1, all real low which looks great for a very tight draw to come. We could easily see a draw where all numbers are repeats from the previous 4 to 6 draws, with 2 or even 3 numbers to hit from its previous draw. Looks a good time to play for recent numbers.

I just heard about the new Powerball, do you have any details on this?
I’m trying to work out what the division 9 will be.
Also, keen on your take on it as I know you were just getting up and running with your Powerball history after the last lot of changes they made.

Hi Col, yes its sad to hear that just as we were getting a usable database, they change the format. All known updates regarding the new Powerball game appear in Powerball Guide, which I will update again as soon as we get more details.

Not the tight draw yet, but we saw a few recent numbers hit, including the 17 and 37 tipped above.
Wednesday Lotto 06/06/2018 – 8 19 21 35 36 37 (2 15)
Again, not the tight draw yet, but there were a few recent numbers hit.
The numbers I tipped above for the number lovers, continue to see hits – three of them hit tonight – 19 36 37.

Just had a quick check my charts aren’t showing a great deal for tonight’s draw.
I have cold numbers 18,27 and Hot numbers showing 1 of the following 8,14 or 40.
I also like numbers 3 or 4 for tonight and number 37 has hit last three draws so is highly unlikely to come out tonight.

We just saw ANY6=9 so maybe that was the tight draw.
Ion3=1 so we may see another tight draw soon (hopefully tighter). I also expect to see 2 numbers hit from its previous draw, this week.

Hi Col, this year has been a bit poor for real tight draws, and you are right in that they have gone out a bit lately. It may take a while to sort out, as you may know, they replaced ALL the Lotto, Powerball & OZLotto barrels in April.
Having said that, I still think we are quite due for a much tighter draw, especially with 2 or 3 numbers to hit from its previous draw (strong). Monday/Wednesday this week look likely to me and I will be having a go.

I’m reading up on some of Saliu’s work, it take a bit to work out.
Have you been able to work out the double FFG median for the 6/45 game.
Now trying to apply and work out any advantage.
Would appreciate if you can shed any light on his methods/strategies.

Hi Col, on that page he mentions to use numbers where the last 2 skips will sum to equal or less than double FFG median.
“I look at the first two skips (the two most recent skips). Instead of selecting lottery numbers that show each of the two most recent skips less than or equal to the FFG median, I SUM UP the skips… result is less than the double amount of the FFG median.”
Just play with the SkipSystem software. I am trying to download latest version but having problem, just emailed Ion.

Hi Col, I played with SkipSystem (old) a bit, looks interesting, but I think may yield too many potential games to play, and will need a lot of further filtering.
We didn’t see an amazing draw this week, though Saturday and Monday both had 3 numbers hit from 2nd draw back (1-1-1). With the new barrels I think may take another couple of months to give us more significant feedback, especially the Ion filters.

I was not aware of the change in barrels, however my regular system did start going off a few months ago. ie. no regular wins. This would explain the change in skips. Currently we have 1 or 2 large skips combined with medium skips.
Now just waiting for a swing towards recent skips/hot numbers. I agree we may have to wait a few months for the skips to settle down.
I did workout that Ion5 = Ver 6 value less than 21.

Hi Col, I know what you mean, when Ion5=0 the Ver6=21 or less. But have you found a consistent predictor for this? If you could, this would be an extremely powerful filter for reducing number of games. You could then open up the ANY filters wide, and still have a nice set of games to play.
Very likely we will see 2 numbers hit from their previous draw, within next 2 (or 3) draws. Also quite likely to see 3 numbers hit from their previous draw, could be now, if not then later this month.
If the new barrels are fairly random, then the Ion filters should become more usable as predictors again soon.

Have you been able to work out any other values on the Filters chart?
In chasing Ion 2 and Ion 3 values/equates to?
Reading some of Saliu works, picked up Any charts with skip 2 values will more than likely deliver in the next draw another value of skip 2.
Some good tips to be picked up along the way, just heavy going reading through his material.

Hi Col, yes reading Saliu can yield some good ideas.
The Ion filters are statistics based and can be of predictive value – look at our well known Ion3=0 or 1, usually delivers Any6=10 or less (the tighter draws) shortly afterwards. High Ion4 (double digit) frequently leads to 2 or 3 hits from previous draw (0-0 or 0-0-0). I have seen other patterns too but not as reliable.
On your skip2 values, Saliu did say on those SkipSystem pages that good numbers can be found from those whose last 2 skips add up to double FFG median or less.
If you are looking at designing another system, take a look at how often the tighter draws end up being a Any6=8, and look how often the Verticals go all plus(+) when it hits, there are quite a few. The difficulty being getting the other Any filters right, with a playable number of games.
Monday night looks ok to see 2 or 3 from previous draw (even with the new barrels?), with numbers 6 and 23 being nice contenders.

Hi Col, the Ion filters are a bit out at the moment. I don’t think its a good time to play for tight draws, not for a while.
If you want to play numbers, keep an eye on draws where the Any1 is 2,3 or higher (like last Saturday), those draws are seeing some repeats in subsequent draws. I’m not playing at the moment…

Well I must say it been tricky picking winners lately especially when the Hot numbers are few and far between.

Hi Col, congrats on your win. I haven’t been playing much for a while now, very few games generated.
Some draws have been difficult anyway, especially when you see the smallest number coming up as 19,20, or even 27! Because of this we have seen bigger Vertical filters all round, its just re-balancing, as we went a while with the smallest number not getting very big.
8 draws back we had the tightest draw in a while, a 6 draw:
ANY : 0- 0- 2- 4- 5- 5-
Things may be improving. You no doubt saw Ion3=0 on Wednesday, look also at Ion4=16 4 draws back, we could easily see a tight draw, and at least 2 (or 3) numbers hit from its previous draw.
I’ve got no games for Monday, but may have a go Wed/Sat depending what comes Monday.

Yes I agree with the re-balancing, and the lowest number being double digit. Did not pick up on the Ion4=16 always keep an eye on the Ion3=0 or Ion4=0.
With having no games for Monday you must have your filters set very tight.
On a separate note when can we expect the powerball results to start building a suitable history to work with, do we need 100 draws?

Hi Col, the Powerball is a very different approach – hitting the numbers doesn’t provide much advantage without the Powerball Number itself. I think the 22 draws seen so far give us some idea, but yes, 100 draws will be plenty. I am looking at pairs/triplets and other tricks at the moment, will post more at Powerball Tips 2018 soon.

So if you were to play one game which would it be the Tatts or the Powerball?

Col, they are different, each has its own characteristics. I like to play Lotto, as the jackpot is much easier to hit, but I just played Powerball (2nd time played in the new format) last week as it looks better for returns. Look at the repetitions of the Powerball Number, there will be runs like this, and by playing the last few hit, would yield easy prizes. I watch last 25 draws for Powerball Number trends, so we are almost there.

PS: I’m working on a killer Powerball system, may take some time to really see how good it can be, going forward. Its hard to automate it, but if I can, will make available to members only here.

I must admit I’ve been disappointed with the results of the lotto after the barrels were changed.
Currently the swing has been to mid range and cold numbers. I did notice the powerball has been repeating on many occasions.
I’ll switch over to the Powerball Tips and have a read of the forum.
My aim is to play every week and at least return enough to play again.

thankfully not too many games generated, so light on play. There have been 84 draws with the new barrels, and just a few tight draws.
I expect to see a draw this week with all small numbers (33 or less).
I could write more, but nothing looks outstanding right now.

Yes, I did get some wins on those 2 firm draws in December.
I guess you are hinting its time to see 2 numbers from the previous again, its about time. I also suspect we may see another firm draw soon (Any6=5 or 6), but am happier playing after a recent Ion3=0 or 1.

I feel the drawer results are finally settling down after the new barrels were introduced.
It is not uncommon to see three hits from either Hot or Cold numbers over the few months.
I would be keen to hear from other members as to the results they are getting?
Looks like Ion3=0 just popped up so I’m keen to play Hit 2 from previous draw.

Hi Col, yes its been 114 draws on the new barrels, so filters should become more significant. The Ion3=0 points to Ion4=0 a firm draw, to hit within this fortnight.
Its not been the best year for me, but then I didn’t play much either.
Will have to do new pages for Lotto tips 2019 and Powerball tips 2019.
