Melbourne Cup 2007

Melbourne Cup day today, will see Australia’s best stayers race the 3200m, 2 miles, and go into Racing history. After this period of EI Australian horse racing has not yet fully recovered, and the best horses have not had enough runs to set sound form. Any selections today can really only be based on their last few runs. Also, the new Flemington track surface has led to some large results, from WET runners on a GOOD track!

    Zipping ran on well for 4th. Princess Coup looked to commence a run at the home turn, only to get cut off by Efficient, who went on to win, on the firm part of the Flemington track.
