The Warwick Stakes to be run on Saturday 26 August 2006, promises to be an exciting race with a phenomenal finish.
Whoever wins this will probably break some record, as most runners have run pretty noteable times.
Outstanding runners in this are:
- 7.Men At Work – very consistent this distance, barrier 6 should see him tracking the leaders just off the pace, jockey J Bowman will launch his claim in the finish.
- 1.Eremein – champion, out for a warm up, likes longer distances, can do a decent 1400m, will come home strongly looking for more. Jockey G Boss.
- 4.Desert War – always there, sustained in the running, should place. Jockey L Cassidy.
- 9.Racing To Win – 4yo gelding from Encosta De Lago, is proving a phenomenon, 6 wins and 3 times 2nd place from 9 runs. Barrier 3 with jockey M Rodd, will really put it to the big boys. This horse should lead for most of the race, and will be the one to beat.

3 out of 4, in the first 4. Courts In Session the early race favourite, won in an extremely bold showing. Got out of the gates and bolted 4 to 6 lengths ahead of the field and kept going, Desert Master following closely behind. The other strong runners were coming on late, a little too late.
