Spring Racing Carnival 2006:
Spring has sprung and prominent stayers Eremein, Above Deck, and of course the big-hearted Our Smoking Joe, have all begun their campaigns, warming up for bigger events. Our Smoking Joe, being primed for the Caulfield Cup and Melbourne Cup this year, will be a serious contender, having run with the best stayers in the land, and PLACED consistently, he finds plenty. On his first up run, G Network punters saw him charge home from the back in the J.J.Liston Stakes, with a resulting 3rd, at $5.10 PLACE, NSW Fixed odds. Look forward to some great Spring racing, as things will surely start to hot up soon!
