This week’s Powerball Jackpot sets a new Australian record for a lottery prize, $50 million. Nice one. Not an easy game to pick, even harder than last week. There are a few tips that may help us edge a little closer to the jackpot.
Last week’s result – 4 5 6 8 38 7 – produced an extreme in small numbers (sum total=68). The number 8 was in the 4th position, this occurs in Powerball once in decades! Such an extreme, and ripples from the 4 draw game in April, are indicating other extremes likely to occur in the next several draws. There are a few possible scenarios, so I won’t be specific here, as some may be totally out.
We may see one number hit from previous draw, and safely exclude a few numbers that are unlikely to hit. Looking at Saliu filters for the Powerball itself, it seems to me likely to hit above its skip median, but below its previous skip, with a clustering at 22,23,24.
Try these
- One number from previous draw – 4 5 6 8 38
- EXCLUDE these as unlikely – 14 17 35 42
- One Powerball from – 1 22 23 24 35 40
Good luck.
