This looks like an interesting race, with many chances, but one runner stands out for consistent runs this campaign and beneficial factors in this race.

Enthusiast is the Racing Selection in Doomben.

This 7 year old gelding by Flying Spur, is down in weight, ridden by top performing jockey S Scriven, and comes from barrier 1. Recent rides were from wide barriers, and he still got across to run at the front every race.

Has put in consistently good times, and will probably get straight out to the front and lead all the way. Challenges may come from Starlactic and Impaler, and look for the late lunge by Hard to Catch.

The favourite Natural Destiny may be in this, but has not proven convincingly in these conditions, may place.
