Our Smoking Joe is tracking fine into Saturday’s Cox Plate, and with the addition of Aqua D’Amore, seems to be the most certain to be in the finish, in these conditions. Our Smoking Joe scored a strong 2nd ($3.60 place) to Sphenophyta, with Serenade Rose dead heating 3rd with Aqua D’Amore, giving trainer Lee Freedman a trifecta. The track today suited these runners as it was still a little soft, just upgraded from Dead to Good, and Joe loves 2000m. Read more »
